Here are some links that we have found during the course of the project – some of them are from groups and organisations that we have visited, worked and collaborated with, others might be useful to people living with dementia in the community and those in their circle of care. It’s also interesting to look a little more in depth at the work of artists, musicians and groups which have supported the project and their communities.

Life Changes Trust offer funding for people living with dementia and carers to attend important conferences, gatherings and meetings, so that they may travel and have accommodation paid for, enabling full participation.

Ceilidh Friday evening 6-9pm Bayhead Retirement Centre, Stornoway £3. Go along if you would enjoy an evening ceilidh to keep you connected with the community and with music and especially if you have a song or two in you! Really supportive place to trial new performance pieces.
Lunch Club Thursdays at 12 noon, Bayhead Retirement Centre, Stornoway, £4. Sit down for a 3 course lunch at 1pm.
